Metzineres is the first integrated harm reduction program exclusively for women and non-binary gender people who use drugs in multiple situations of vulnerability and surviving interrelated violences.

Transgender women, homeless, sex workers or those who practice sex as a survival mechanism, with physical, mental and/or emotional disorders arising from their problematic drug use, among others, cross the door every day to a free masculinity space where the stigma, infantilization, and prohibitions are relegated to wait outside.

However, despite the situations to which these women are exposed, the meaning of this ongoing work is to show a strong common denominator between them: resilience, sense of humor, and mutual support as a tool for connection and collective survival.
